These people are then added to an embargo list, ie they don't get more codes in the future because they aren't fulfilling their review obligations. ![]() If you as an author or narrator go through ABB, they keep a list of reviewers who have received codes but not left reviews within 45 days of receipt. I've been using AudioBookBoom for the last few months and have received 10 books and currently completed reviews of 7 of them. ![]() I'll add some viewpoint as a regular reviewer. When you complete this process, USING THE CREDIT from the code you previously redeemed, YOUR balance should be "0$," and you intended recipient should get an email with a direct link to download their book. ![]() Go to the title of your book and click "Give as a Gift"(sounds redundant, but there you are)Ī screen will pop up for you to enter the email of the reviewer you want to give it to. (Now YOU have a free credit you may get a book for yourself, OR "gift" one to someone else) Next: Go to (make sure you are logged in) select "browse audible"(top menu bar)>"redeem promo code"(from dropdown) enter your promo code. Also, even a well-intended reviewer may not follow through and redeem a book there are a lot of steps to navigate, so make it easy for them!Ī better way to use the codes is to get the email address of your would-be reviewer, and "GIFT" the book to him/her. Everyone marketing ACX-produced AUDIOBOOKS should realize that the free-download codes are INTERCHANGEABLE your recipient may not necessarily use them to download YOUR book.
